Guys: I have been waiting, and waiting, and ..., for the promised Graf brass in 7.62 x 54R, to start exercising my Romanian Mosin M44. Midway has just announced Greek "Olympus" brand loaded 180-gr hardshell stuff, Boxer-primed and non-corrosive, at a hair under $100 for 400 rounds in commercially-boxed 20's. This works out to about the same as Graf's price (if and when) for brass only, half the price for Lapua, and a quarter that for Norma. My question is, does anyone here have experience with this stuff, or with Greek ammo in general? I seem to recall some on the market awhile back in .308 or .30-'06. I can always disassemble the hardshell loads at our club's next "Ol' Warhorse" shoot, and put them back together with REAL bullets. floodgate

I've bought and shot Greek .303 with no problems. It was boxer primed and I have reloaded it. I can't say if the 762 X 54R is the same or not. I think bitsandwedge has been around carpetman too long!! ohshooter
