Checked out their site today and see they make molds in iron, alum, or brass plus some three bullet molds. I have heard that they are good molds and was wondering if anyone else has used them? If so, which one, alum or iron? Bill

MM makes great molds! (I have no interest in the company, just a very satisfied customer). I've used them in aluminum and brass. I personally find brass is my least favorite block material, as it seems to be the most critical of temp, ie not too hot, not too cool. I've never had problems with aluminum mold blocks, so would recomend them. I also like cast iron blocks (ballisticast are my favorite), but I usually don't pay the extra price for iron blocks. Well cared for aluminum blocks will cast 10's of thousands of great bullets. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.

I have several, some in Aluminum, some in Brass, they are all excellent. After casting awhile the aluminum ones are noticibly lighter. The blocks are rather massive. I preheat with a propane torch before casting. Well worth the money.

I have them in Aluminum, brass, iron. They all cast good bullets. I use aluminum for the big pistol bullets.475 and .500 cal. I can cast faster with aluminum. Sean

I have one for my 35 Whelen in brass. It casts good bullets, and seems to be less temp sensitive than my cast iron Lymans and RCBS. I would like to try some of his in aluminum. Brass molds are PRETTY "I didn't know how many of them it was going to take to whip my ass..... but I knew how many they were going to use......" Ron White
