Checking the HBC file this morn I find 12 responses to my e indicating a desire for a mold. There's another 6-7 guys which initially indicated an interest but haven't been back thru here and read their PM's. Then another 2-3 guys indicating a wish to see the drawing first. So if you haven't checked your PM file and expressed an interest-- please do. I'm very encouraged with the interest level, with a few weeks barely passing and about enough to make our 25 mold minimum.

Talked to Doug at Lee yesterday and he stated any nose profile could be made by him. Cool. Likely some tradeoffs per Lee's actual ability to machine close tolerances will come into play. So long as the ogive is on a center line and the first driver is at or near 309 we're in business. I'll detale my logic for some of the dia's and design features when the drawing is up. Nothin' complicated-- just a nice streamlined nose with lots of bearing surface/metal to barrel ratio. [say what?]

Drawing isn't far off-- samples sent to trk this Monday the 24th of Nov.

I did touch on having Lee cut some nose punches with Doug. Am sending the info over and we'll see what the figures are.
