I have acquired 36 pounds of babbit.
I cast LBT style bullets for my 44 mag with water quenched wheel weights. I was wondering if I added a percentage of this babbit to my melt if it would increase the hardness of my bullets. If anyone has any experience with babbit I'd like to hear from you.

Babbit has a lot of variations depending on the intended use. Some have copper and zinc in them, and so increase surface tension. I would suggest trying a small amount first in a small amount of lead, and see what kind of fill out you get.
