Alan RCommercial Cast Bullet Recommendation?
I'd like to start shooting cast bullets from my '06's. I'd appreciate bullet supplier suggestions for quality, GC'd bullets (bullet design suggestions welcomed also!). Purpose: field shooting practice (not competition) on gongs and metalic silhouette targets.
Thanks.

Idaho SharpshooterAlan R,
Laser-Cast in Baker City, OR, makes some very nice Gc 30 caliber bullets. I have shot them over 2450 in a 300WM, and under 2moa out to 300yds. 24Bhn

Wayne at Custom Cast makes a fine bullet, and is a gentleman of the highest order. I buy his 350 grain bullet for the 45-70 and a 300 grain bullet for the 45 Colt, both gas checked.

Calif. HunterStay away from National Bullet Company! They have a nice website, but I am still waiting for bullets or a refund from June. Generally, I have been ignored. The next step, I guess, is to contact tehir local district attorney and post on places like ripoff.com, that show up when you run a web search on that name....
