Guys"

At the gun show in Uke today, I picked up a complete 310 tool set in .41 Long Colt; a relatively modern set from the Lyman "Leisure Group" era around 1970. I don't have a .41 any more (the "Thunderer" I did have years ago was a 3" "Sheriff's Model", and was a VERY RARE specimen - it was the ONLY one in New Mexico that had NEVER been owned by Billy the Kid! Made 1912, it didn't even have "Billy" written inside the grips like most of them. It went to a collector for BIG bucks - about $20, if I rekememeber right).

Ahyhoo, all I wanted was the "small" size handles for a .44 Spl. die set I have, so the complete set of .41 LC dies (screw-in bushing #14; priming die #25; primer punch / neck sizer, .386" neck expander, and seat / crimp die with #179 seating stem (for the hollow-base, blunt inside-lubed bullet) - all the latter marked "41 LC", together with the gray and black "Lyman / Leisure Group" box for the whole set including handles, good used condition), is on the block. I don't want to get into the eBay rat-race, so let me know if you are seriously interested. Best offer over $40 by midnight PST Sunday Nov. 16 gets it, post-paid via Priority Mail. You're on your own for handles, though, unless you already have them.

I'm posting this on Accurate, too, but nowhere else. Hit me at floodgate@pacific.net.
