J Wisner,

I don't have a lathe. About the closest I could come is chucking something into a drill and holding a file or something to it. I have tried to use the #429-.357 fn top punch and the bullet will not come back up without taking the sizing die out and using my brass hammer to tap it out of the die. It seems to lube most of the bullet but will not come back up out of the sizing die without some real force. Putting on gas checks with the Lee die and tumble lubing is so easy that I may just use that. Thanks BM

Bill

PS: All posts on this topic has been very helpful and I may try to modify one of my top punches. I have to go slow because I goof up if I don't. Seems that a big company like Lyman would provide a wider selection of top punches for bullets other than their own.
