Can anyone give me receipes for a 195 grain lead bullet with gas check for the 8mm Mauser. I have found some in the manuals for lighter bullets. I use H4198, IMR 4227 and XMP 5744. I prefer IMR 4227. One receipe showed the same range for IMR 4227 and XMP 5744 and a 165 grain bullet. That is the Lyman manual. Just got the rifle. Never looked at this cartridge before. Finding it a very interesting and suprising calibre. I am using it for a Cowboy Action event and they require lead bullets be used. Got some on order. Oh yes. I am new to this forum.
