Guys, just a word or two to brag on the quality of RCBS mould blocks:

I have recently been casting using the RCBS 35-200 FN for an upcoming wildcat to be built on the AR platform. I cast up about 160 projectiles using pure linotype, and ladle cast them to eliminate as much variation as I could. After I gas checked the bullets and ran them through my Star, I arbitrarily took 20 and weighed them. To my amazement, they were all within .3 grain, and well over half of the 20 weighed exactly the same!

To find this kind of accuracy out of a two-cavity mould is incredible, in my experience, but I refuse to believe I have the only blocks from them that will do that. In short, if you can get by with a two cavity mould, I think you would be hard pressed to beat RCBS, assuming they offer the mould you need...

I've found RCBS rifle moulds to be excellent. I've got RCBS moulds for 243, 45-70 and 375 enjoyed the results.
Good looking bullets

Yes,RCBS does indeed make some good moulds. I own many. I also own Lyman,Ideal,Veral Smith (LBT),as well as too many to mention custom mfgs. The RCBS is a very superior product.Too many stories to tell, but this is paramount; The 250.G. Keith using linotype w/ a 22.G charge of 2400 gives maximum performance at 50 yards; per gelatin+ 16" of penetration with no deformation of projectile.Comments?

I had one of these once. I shot about half a 55 gallon drum of WW in my 336 Marlin and a Super 14, both in 35 Rem. Sold them both to a nephew in a moment of weakness.

I just got the same bullet in a 2-cavity NOE mould, and it makes within .0005" round bullets, and the last cast netted me 230 of them in a .5gr spread. They are a wee fat at .359", but I had honed out a sizer die to .3595" that just holds them square in the lubing process.

One of my 2014 projects involves a very nice 1948 YUGO action and a 358 Win barrel and reamers. Mannlicher carbine.

Set my hotplate at 400-degrees, and the 3rd cast were keepers.
