Hey All,

I just shot some new bullets that I bought from First Strike Enterprises. They shoot excellent! Even better than that was the price, it was the best I've found in a long time. They ship across the lower 48 states. Here's the website.

While this is a free website with no real restrictions on postings by folks who are in the shooting sports with a commercial interest, I personally find it a bit disengenuous when the first post by someone is an advertisement.

By all means pull up a chair and share your experiences with casting bullets, or ask the experienced folks here some questions which they will all be more then willing to answer.

Ditto to what Paul said.
We don't need any manufacturese representatives here trying to pedal their wares.

Besides, the prices are not that spectacular.

I prefer to cast my own. That way, I have control over not only the sizing but the hardness and lube as well. My only problem is finding the time to do it.

If you find the source of free time, lemme know, I'm also in very short supply! I'm quite embarassed as the moderator of this group that I've done almost no casting in the past year or two, and then my pot up and dies when I finally get around to it.

I've seen the same type of first posts on a couple other boards. It absolutely, positively, gaurantees that I will never consider doing business with the particular company recommended. It's a cheap shot at trying for free advertising, and if they do that on free boards, they will probably bend you over and screw you somewhere along the line. If a new member shows up that is an individual craftsman, and wants to make an honest introduction of himself, he might post his link one time for people to see what he does. Someone popping up and plugging a business like this, is pretty cheap.
Buyer, beware!

I see where you all are coming from. I apologize for the first time post and how it came off. I have seen this way of letting people know what's out there work for many companies.

I am "FSE" the company and I just wanted to let everyone know who I am and offer good deals to everyone. I am a small company and have no choice but to offer excellent customer service.

Again I apologize if I have offended anyone here, I just wanted to share the excitement of shooting and all to go with it.

You haven't offended anyone here,Darthat. The guys are just feeling you out.
I haven't been here as long as some of the rest, but I've heard some stories. Some are pretty scary.
Do you use batch casting machines?
What is the average Brinnell reading?
How about the alloy? Does it stay the same?
I might try some of your 300Gr. .44's.

I'm thick skinned and not easily offended, perhaps easily offensive Wink

Your first post came across as you being a customer reporting how you like a product, vs the owner of a company letting folks know about your products. Hence that comes across as disengenuous at best, and calling a spade a spade, deceptive. Other companies may take that tact, but it is a poor practice at best, and I don't know anyone who likes it. It has a tendency to make some folks feel like they will never do business with such a company. Hence you don't know what sales you didn't get by turning folks off.

The best way to come across is open and honest, I'm the owner of FSE and would like to let you know about my products. You'll seldom come across a more open and helpful group then here and the castboolit crew. Not everyone casts there own, and other sources of good bullets are always appreciated.

Hey, how about start a new thread to tell us about your company and products, what makes em special, etc. Openly sharing info is what it's all about. I have absolutely no problem with such an approach, and certainly prefer it to your first post. Just don't put up multiple threads so that all we see are threads about your product and everybody will be happy.

I do my best to stay out of there. Lately my co-workers have been doing an ample job of raising my blood pressure, so no need to venture into the ignorance crater roflmao
