I can't wait to make some Felix. Is that the guy with the handle named Felix I see posted on some of the gun boards? I ordered some LBT soft blue but it's been a long time comin'. Any of you guys used that stuff? The LBT mold I own is by far, the best easist to use mold I have, that makes perfect bullets that drop right out every time. The spruce opens easilly by hand. What a fine engineered block of materials. I tire of some of the lymans sometimes.

Gregg, take a look at www.thesage.com. They carry a slew of colorants for candles and soaps. They carry everything you need to make FWFL with and a bunch of stuff for some of the variants. Prices seem fair, certainly better than a craft store which would be your only likely local source.

There is NOTHING better than Felix, bar none! Had felix patented this mix and then sold it to a manufacturer, he would have made a tall stack of coins. His gift to the cast shooters of the world is monumental..truly. However, liquid alox is handy to have around and it works as advertised..it is all I use on pissola bullets because I am too lazy to lube and size them. I have gone to 2200 fps with felix in 30 caliber...the bigger bores refuse to lead with felix. I cannot stand more than 1900 in my 45-70 with 400 grain bullets, so somebody else will have to testify beyond this speed. If you jst dont' want to make any felix (what a shame!), Javelina works well enough but I don't care for any of the others...either they cost too much for what you get or they fail to work.
