| Chargar, I cast about 4 hunert 308-165-SIL today. Man, dayshowispurdy (yea, dat's all one word!)!!! I'll go ahead and get them prepped along widsum brass so's when that rifle gets here we can try it out. Still studyin' on a scope... How fast can we push them??? sundog |

| Sundog..I have not hooked my chronograph up in abut ten years so I am only guessing. I use 50/WC872 under the 165 RCBS Sil and get great accuracy. The alloy is air cooled WW +2.5% tin. I figure I am getting somewhere between 2 and 2.2K. |

| Felix, that might just be a GOOD reason to come to your place to visit! Not the either of us need a particular reason. I'll have my base and rings all picked out (one inch, right?). Wouldn't take anything to slap the scope on there and make a run to 'da riva' since it seems you need a little prod. (Take a lever gun, too, for some fast action on charging beer cans!) Then, we can decide if it's what needs to go on that rifle. Hagglin' after that if we think it's a good combination. Thanks for the offer. sundog |
