Felix, I just got fifty or so sticks of Magma green lube in a trade. What do you suggest I combine with it to make it more like Felix lube? Is this even useable as a base? tony
Tony, add anhydrous lanolin at 10 percent by volume. Three tablespoons with one teaspoon. If that walks, talks, and acts like a duck, then add another teaspoon of lanolin for a little more kick. Don't do any more until you shoot it for effect. We don't want to up the viscosity any more than we have to, and that's what lanolin will do. ... felix

I had the same perdiciment I had a bunch of magma blue hard lube and found that if I mix it at a ratio of about 3/4 felix lube to 1/4 hard it makes a real good lube for me as I store alot of bullets and the felix is a little soft for the summer months.

Fellas, thanks for the replies. I think I will use a combination of the ideas - a liberal application of Jack, 10% lanolin, and a dollop of regular Felix lube thrown in for good measure. Lloyd, do you use a heater with your mix? The newly acquired Star has one attached, but I don't think it will be needed. Tony
