Just got my .30 TL today. If it casts to the same diameter, it'll work OK in my Mosin. (.312" groove diameter.) I'll probably have to size 'em down to shoot 'em in my standard thirties.

Hi All! I just cast some 30TL bullets and the mold does work wonderful. I would post some piks if I knew how...and I intend to do a 'small' statistical study on the bullets cast so far....Oh YA! ...I might even shoot a few in the next few days to see if they shoot! This alloy ( it was in the pot, ready to go) is a little hard for the best results,IMHO. I've got the pot melting some 'hopefully' softer mystery metal so I can cast some 45PP bulets. ( Ok,ok...I already cast a few from the hard metal....OOOOhhhh,,,Aaahhh....Ahem... I mean they look nice.) Might have piks of them in with the 30TL.....

Preliminary tests also show the 30 TL is .314 on the base and .312 on the bands.... But more time will get a better idea of it's true nature. More later, Dale
