| You're right. It's all there inside your digital camera. Now all you need to do is make it fit inside your barrel. <GGG>
The fiber optics and optical terminal ends are the problem. The stuff is out there, in special applications for medical use, inspecting jet engine turbine blades, and even oil well servicing. But, so far as I know, all those special application optics haven't been made into "generic" products that we can all hook up and use cheaply. |

| If I remember correctly, there are a few gunsmiths around who can run a borescope in your barrel and record it on a VCR. No idea how they are getting it from the scope to the tape though. Probably some kind of camera adapter mounted on the eyepeice of the borescope. Greg |

| I think the answer you are looking for lies int eh direction of security/spying. I'm sure that sounds funny, but there has been an explosion of exactly the kind of optics you are seeking in that feild of work. I don't know where to suggest you begin to look specifically, but if there is a way to get a camara into a space not designed for a camara, the spooks, spies, and private eye types will have it. |

| They are probably priced awfully high since they are medical but they are advertising a little camera and transmitter that you swallow. to view your intestines it says you wear a receiver on your waist. It's supposed to be 1000 times better than the barium enema and xray method. All we have to do is follow someone who's swallowed one and retreive it. (I would wash it off first before putting it down one of my rifle barrels)<GGG> they say it's the size of a vitamin pill, what's that .30 caliber. |
