I'm seeking a gas checked Lyman bullet mould for a 45-70, ~425 grain. It is Lyman number 457102 or 458102(?). If you have one, and were thinking of giving it a new home, please drop me a PM. Yes, I know RCBS makes a 458-400 gas check mould. I will likely go that route if I can't find the Lyman. If anyone has the RCBS 458-400 grain gascheck mould, I'd be interested too. VG+ or better condition. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------- Behavior accepted, is behavior repeated.

I've often thought that mould looked very interesting. Right now there's a group buy in the offering for a 420 grain plain base over on Cast Boolits that you may want to check out, here: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=15069 Ranch Dog has a 425 grain gas check .45-70 bullet remarkably like the Lyman, only with microbands for tumble lubing: http://www.ranchdogmolds.com/TLC460425RF "A cheerful heart is good medicine."

A heads up. My 457102 weighs in at 445 grains using WW and a bit of tin. Very accurate, lovely bullet. Jim "Whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force." --Thomas Jefferson
