BCB, My Scot 453 chart does not show 44 mag. data. It has 357 mag.From 8 3/8 barrel with Piezo Transducer
110 Speer/JHP 7.8 gr.=1513 26,300, 8.7 gr.= 1641 f/s 34,100
125 Hornady/JFP 7.5 gr.=1431 28,100 8.4gr.=1526 f/s 34.000
140 Speer/JHP 6.6gr.=1265 25,500, 7.6 gr.= 1386 f/s 33,700
148 LDEWC 3.9 gr.=1003 17,800, 5.9 gr.= 1225 f/s 34,000
158 Hornady/LSWC 5.7 gr.=1157 23,700'6.8 gr.=1270 f/s 32,200
158 Speer/LRN 5.7 gr.=1167 22,500,6.8 gr.= 1290 f/s 31,000
158 Hornaday/JFP 5.7 gr.=1088 22,400,7.1 gr.=1270 f/s 34,000
170 Sierra/FMJRN 5.1 gr.= 944 22,900,6.3gr.= 1125 f/s 34,000

As indicated in above post Accurate Arms has .44 Mag data for Scot 453.

Thanks...I copied, pasted and printed that data. That will give me some idea as to the burning rate compared to other powders with similar charges. Should help. I will e-mail Accurate Arms and see if they have any 44 Magnum data...BCB
