What wads are they, do you have pictures of groups shot with them and are you useing a rifled barrel

These are the discarding sabots we designed and are
having made ,I have 10,000 here now.
All the particulars are on the 12ga From Hell
thread in big bore section. Rifled barrel, scoped NEF,
got 2.5" group at 50 yds.Those Minie bullets on target
make the pistol bullets other sabots use look puny.Ed

I had a dear friend in Upstate NY, now departed, whom sent a Remington 870 smoothbore to somewhere in PA many years go, had it rifled and concocted a cast round ball, I don't remember the caliber, in a cutoff wad deer hunting load for it. I used to love to watch him load them as he clearly enjoyed the "custom" processing. They shot very well and killed very well. We spent many a happy hour in his basement loading those.
