Thanks for the update!

How can I get more than the last 10 topics listed on the screen? 15 to 20 would be nice; is it possible?

Is there a way of sorting who's looking where - it's a long list and I'm interested in only two or three of the forums to see who's on-line?

Yeah, what Tim said. It would really be nice to see a bunch more threads as this site actually operates on a simple "see thread, talk" basis.

Of the 10 current threads showing, there isn't a lot to pick between them (especially since Aladin had to crank up half of them in a valiant attempt to stir up some conversation).

Not that I am criticising him for doing so, I've done it myself when I woke up in the middle of the night and didn't have all that much going on.

"Poking the sleeping dogs" is a well honored tradition on e-lists, but when you can only see the top 10 threads and half of them are dog-pokers, then a vistor will only see a sluggish, dead-looking list.

=============================

Also traditional is the "mixed-thread discussion style" (which is loved by chronologicalists everywhere). However, it really screws up a "see thread, talk" list like this one. Aladin, the 6.5 Swede mauser has nice tall 50% land 50% groove rifling and the bullets we are shooting are 1.20" worth of hardened wall engagement (rifling engaged) and the powders we are using are IMR 4831 equivalents and are not terribly fast on the pick up. Besides, if you stripped out all that you'd get massive blow by and leading. None of us have seen any leading on any of these high speed rounds. It's all over-spin induced bullet death by insane RPM levels .... you are spinning an inch long bullet at 4-6 times the speed a Dremel rotary tool can reach -- no cast lead bullet is that structurally strong and that "balance perfect" to withstand these hellacious spin rates and as soon as it gets off kilter by a tiny tiny bit the death wobble progression starts. The bullets are simply spun past what the material can withstand, ie spun to death.

Press the expand button in the top right corner. That'll fix the amount of posts listed.
As to the speed, SHISH my beard is growing too!

THAT worked. I'll blame in on bifocals - didn't see the options for adjusting the display.

Thanks,
