I've seen and heard about these for a few years now so I decided to order one and give it a try. I just received it (# 2 size) a few days ago and casted a few bullets with it yesterday... And damn if this is not the best ladle I have ever used. I purposely melted about 20 pounds of wheel-weights and left all of the clips and dross floating in the pot. As hard as I tried otherwise this thing would only pour clean metal from the bottom of the ladle bowl into the mould. If you use a ladle to cast you should give one of these a try. I plan to get one to pour 10 pound ingots. I haven't seen anything offered that even comes near these ladles.
