I have a guy that make the moulds for me in South Africa.

The trick was to find .511 gas checks....

I know in the states the molds cut for 50 cal are designed to use 1/2" freeze plugs as the gas checks. I've never looked for a commercial source of 1/2" freeze plugs, but I bet one could find them in bulk for less than ones sold as gas checks.

How's the acccuracy of the bullet? I've found when a cast bullet is seated with the base below the neck of the cartridge acccuracy is often degraded. I ended up using a 470 gr pistol bullet in my 500 Jeffrey, as it is short enough to be seated with the bullet base in the neck of the case.
