So when are "they" going to have the big batch cook and start shipping?

Patience, Grasshopper.
Felix and Sundog live a-ways apart, and have to find the opportunity to get together for the project. I'm not even sure if all the required materials have yet been delivered.
This is not a commercial operation, by any means, but a good will project by some of the most knowledgeable and trustworthy cast bullet shooters in the country.
Patience.

Here's the update as of today from FelixHere is the list of respondents. Please email me if this list shows up wrong. It has been verified several times by Pat and myself, but we are not what we used to be and mistakes are therefore expected. Check your zip code, and then your initials and see if the order is correct. If so, do nothing. If correct, and you have second thoughts, email me and I will tear up your renumeration. The melt is about ready to happen, but still don't hold your breath. ...fmr72901atjunodotcom... felix

Yes, he knows it actually adds up to $1200, instead of $1100.

Felix delivered bees wax and several buckets of WW to my place last week. More ingredients to follow. I am in process of a plumbing and electric job at home moving the washer and dryer. Finished to plumbing part yesterday. When that project is finished, Felix and I will get together and make another run of alloy - few weeks maybe. As the pot cools we will do the lube. Felix has the plan for this stuff to come out really good. Ought to be a fun day, and hopefully we will get some pics to put on castpics. sundog

I used some of my home attempt at FWFL in the 470NE the other day. 400's at 2100, water dropped WW, plain base, no leading evident. Recoil was brisk as the gun weighed less than 8lbs at the time, and a solid butt plate. I'm up to 9 lb 2 oz now, I may have to put a pound of WW in the butt stock.
