the RCBS Lube-A-Matic 2?

Can someone tell me what is the difference between these two models?

Which two models?? You only list one, or do you mean between the "original" Lube-A-Matic and the Lube-A-Matic 2???

Original Lubamatic was built by Lachmiller, which was bought and continued virtually unchanged by RCBS.

Lubamatic 2 primary difference is the mechanism that puts pressure on the lube chamber to squeeze lube down and into the sizer die.

Original Lubeamatic had a small wrench that interfaced with the main handle to automatically turn the screw to pressure the lube.

Lubeamatic 2, you have to manually tighten the lube plunger....It is actually less "automatic" than the original.

I have owned both, and they both worked well.

My main concern was that the sizing dies and or the top punch may have been different, from the Original and #2.

If the sizer leaks out the bottom,or the threaded pressure screw wants to turn,but not apply pressure on the Lyman 45,450 or the RCBS LAM try putting a small washer underneath the base in the rounded recess,this will keep it pushed up enough that it will not give you any more problems.
