I went to Home Depot and bought a stick of 1" PVC pipe, some 1" caps and a few LOOOONG 3/8 bolts.
I drilled the cap in the center to put the 3/8 bolt in, cut a piece of pipe off at around 5".
I poured a small amount of melted felix lube into the bottom and let it setup.
I then put the pipe in a pan of water and poured it full of melted lube.
After it hardened, I pushed the bolt out and pulled the cap off, the lube came right out in a nice 1" stick ready for the LYman 450.
I tried pouring wax in a similar setup before and got melted wax all over the place as it leaked out the bottom. I thought the cold water would help to harden it and keep it when It needed to be.

I just reheated and poured it into my $5.00 star sizer/luber. The only mess was casused by your's truly.

I poured the balance into lube tubes I have been saving. I have been using them to hold extra sizing dies. But I like your idea of PVC better!
