Hi guys,
I have a Swiss K31 on the way and I was wondering if any of you have had any luck with cast in this rifle. I already have a RCBS 180-FN and a Lee 113. Will these work? I plan on slugging it, but is there much variance in bore dia. with these? Cant wait til it gets here!! Thanks fellas..

The K-31 is probably the most forgiving CB rifle I own. I.e., it will shoot a wide array of different CB designs & weights, including the Lee 113gr. "wadcutter," into 2 m.o.a or less if sized properly. (Your RCBS bullet will also work.) Generally you size to .309" and seat the bullet as deeply in the case as necessary for the bolt to go into battery. That means below the neck shoulder junction and, when viewed from above, the serial no. on the bolt should be at 12:00 o'clock. Use the same CB powders (starting loads)that you would in a .308Win. or 8mm Mau. since the cartridge is essentially a variant of them. Milsurp powders will also work well: 14gr. WC820 is very accurate with the 113gr. Lee CB. Write when you've fired your first CB's to let us know how you fared. ...Maven
