Any of you cast buckshot? I spent four hours doing that this afternoon. The gang molds are a royal PITA. Eventually I got to where about six out of each nine cavity made stuff good enough to keep.

What a fun day...

Africa was wonderful. I had a bit of stomach flu the first couple days, but a fantastic hunt. Got a couple Zebras, a very nice Blesbok, a silver backed jackal, and shot a cow Kudu in the neck for the rancher who wanted one for the meat. I get the flatskin for my efforts. I saw a couple friggin' huge Eland, but getting a shot proved problematical. That, is the reason to go back in two years, as if I needed one.

I got the casting issue resolved, my thermostat on the RCBS pot is very inaccurate. It showed full blast (1000 degrees)but two accurate thermometers both agreed (within 10 degrees) that it was only giving me 700 actual degrees.

Our 22nd wedding anniversary is next month, I mentioned a Waage pot would be a very nice present.

Pray for me...

I printed out that page of the catalog, and the Boss Lady said the price was reasonable. In four weeks I leave for my Ranger Company Reunion in Branson, Mo. She set a budget, and said she will match what I bring back in $$$ to get the pot.

I consider that extortion on a level with the FedGuv...

Today was a very good day.

The Brown Fairy brought me the Waage MP80A-6-1 80lb pot. They must use Brown a lot, the crate was made out of 1x6's and screwed together.
