If anyone is interested we are getting together a group buy for a 6 cavity 45-70 boolit over at Cast Boolit group.

Light enough to save some lead, and heavy enough to do most anything with a 45-70.

I'm in on Ranchdog's 350 GC, but thanks.

If any of y'all don't know about the Cast Boolits group buys, they are the best deal around. Very talented, very experienced casters design moulds to fill in voids in what is currently available. Those interested go in together to have Lee make a special run, usually on six cavity blocks. Because the runs are short and Lee's top machinist does the custom orders, the quality is better than production moulds. Current prices are running $58 which is the cheapest custom six cavity you will ever see.

Though not quite the same weight, SAECO #015 is pretty darn good. Excellent accuracy. Can be used with a relatively low powder charge. Doesn't take much alloy. Available in four cavity moulds or, if you bought some time ago, an eight.
