I once read this in a hunting magazine. My mind leaks like a sieve, but I think he used # .0 buckshot and Bullseye powder or some kind a reduced load powder in a 3006. As I was not in to reloading at the time I did not save the article. Has anyone heard of this ,or tried this. It would like to try this in a 3030 for plunking and grouse hunting.

Check out Waters PET LOADS. There is a whole chapter on this. I use 3.5 Gr of Red Dot and get good indoor accuracy. I lube the balls by shaking them up in moly lube.

It works great. I use #4 buck, run through a .224 sizer and tumble lubed in my .22 Hornet. Works great on starlings and such. (powered by .5gr. Bullseye)
