I and tons of other folks have not had any problems with lee moulds in fact that is all I have except for a old Ideal 311 that I have not used yet because I do not have handles for it yet. I have casted lots of bullets using a Lee pot and moulds for muzzle loaders and my 45/70 with out a bit of a problem. Besides that they make good bullets I am satisfied and I bet a lot of others are also. Jim

In the last 40 plus years I've used Iron, brass, and aluminum molds. I've got a couple of old Lee molds from before they were using a bolt through the handles that still throw good bullets, I have also owned a couple of RCBS molds that were replaced before they cast well. Each type has good and bad points. Each has to be used with a different method. Many of the top buck custom mold makers are using aluminum as a mold material. I guess what I'm saying is that if they didn't work they would be out of business. Just my opinion. I won't worry if you don't listen to me. my wife doesn't either.

Quote: I own iron Lyman molds, RCBS molds, and a Hoch mold from way back when Richard Hoch made them himself. And I now use only Lee molds. Cheaply made, yes. But work as advertised and easy to use, also yes.
