Wheres the best place to go shoot a Wild boar with traits of the Russian/Eurasion boars, and not a farm pig.
I would love one for my trophy room.
Thanks,
W.

Welcome to the forum, Woodsie!! Here is a photo of the typical wild hog I shoot in Florida a couple times a year.

Here is a picture I snapped of a wild hog in Bosnia.

I shot a European hog in Missouri a number of years ago, but that operation is no longer in business (that I know of). I hunted a few in Florida that would make a good mount. I can give you contact infor for Florida if that interests you. Where are you in Maryland, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks guys!!!
I appreciate the link, But I am looking for "freerange" boars.
Anybody have any good guide recomendations within say a 3 hour drive from San Fransisco CA that would have a very good shot at a Trophy Boar.
I go there at least once a year to visit my inlaws, and Hunting trips make it barable.Smiler
Thanks Again,
W.

There are a bunch of outfitters on the Central Coast of California. One of our members here, Kyler Hamman runs a great outfit in that region -- I just can't remember the name of his operation.......

Ed Plummer is thinking of a "Big Bore" over 50ish caliber hunt there sometime. That may be kinda fun. Love to see a 700 used dancing

Expensive is one way of describing it! It looks like a fun hunt, but it is a bit spendy.
