. Early yesterday morning a sounder or 5 sows and 15 piglets. Managed to get this young boar - 17 kgs dressed weight. Blaser R8 in .223 shooting RWS 55 grain factory loads. Great eating size!  . "Up the ladders and down the snakes!" | ||

Indeed, perfect eating size. Well done Charlie. I saw a pig this size on my last local hunt, black body with white socks on the front legs. It was a long way away but I scooted over there anyway. Too much scrub to push through slowed me down. The pig had vanished by the time I arrived. Hoping for better luck on the next outing as i have freezer space for more wild pork. Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing. | |||
