At night at 100 yards under lights. So how do I hit one of two strand barbed wire fence? You would think I could at least hit the Lotto!

But the 250 grain .375 Sierra Game King stayed together enough to the back of the feeder pen to knock this one down. It was kicking and rocking too much so I center massed another round. Any get up and go left!

Damn the fence wires.
Shot several of 'em myself.
Plays hell with .223's.

IF its in the way, you'll hit it at times.
Count on that part.

At least you nailed the critter too.
Enough corn left for a couple more of 'em.

Nice shot on the meat hog. Makes me yearn for a back strap burger with a nice slice of Vidalia onion & some thick applewood smoked bacon.

LiveOak.

Your post reminded me of a fried who faced a dilemma while playing golf where a huge flag pole was right in the way of his shot.
I said, aim right dead center and then ease the shot off a hair.
He hit the pole dead in the middle. I never gave any golf advice since.

That was 30+ years ago.
Murphy's law I guess.

GOod for you P dog, the reason some ranchers don't allow pig hunting except for themselves I because some of the destruction some hunters leave behind, broken fences, opened gates, beer and coke cans that cattle step on and they clamp on the foot and you end up with a sick cow, not to mention ruining a 5 year breedidng program, or calf crop...I also carry wire and a fence tool in my pickup when hunting and if you want a open option to hunt hogs just let a rancher find out that you carry those tools and have a mind to care for his land..
