My Daughter just moved to Atlanta in July....
Looks like my wife and I will be going a couple of times a year...
Can anybody tell me about the hunting close to there?
Hogs are always fun, but I will be looking for Deer as well..
Got any suggestions?

Deer hunts with bows very close to ATL, there are a few WMA s around with limited rifle and muzzloader hunts as well, Season runs from Oct 20 thru Jan 1, hogs are year round on private land . Most hogs are 100 or more miles south of Atl. There are some plantations further south where you can get guided hog hunts for a few $$. Best of luck

No problem finding places to hunt, just check out the lease section. Most places from central Ga. on south have hogs and deer are abundant.
