I have to admit, I am a bit skepticle about this guy. I called this week to ask him about using the whelen rather than the 06 and he said it is a short range gun. Huh? The load I shot with the 225 was the same chronographed as my 165 in the 06. I would think that there is no problem. I did order some 250g. northforks and hopefully they will be here in time for me to try out this weekend when I practice/load develop. After last weekend I need A LOT of practice!!! The problem is, waiting for the barrel to cool down I lose a lot of time. Wish I could spend a whole day just shooting off and on. I am still very excited, but nervous too. I am not sure about my ability. when I hunt deer I am confident, but I don't have money on the line. now I will have money on this and he is saying shots will be between 100 and 200yds. I don't practice very much over 100, that is what I am going to try and do this weekend. Crossing my fingers! Red | ||
