I just saw the post about Austinites having trouble with hogs. It got me thinking. I have some family in that area and it would be nice to go down there and help them out with the hog problem, even get some to participate.

Anyone know of some good hog hunting in the Austin area?

You might try contacting Texas Parks & Wildlife and get contact info for the Game Wardens in the counties around Austin, they should know if any landowners are offering hog hunts.

Depending on where your family lives in that area they could check at local feed stores, landowners will often leave word at such places concerning hog problems.

I have heard you can contact the department of agriculture in Texas and find landowners looking for hunters and trappers of hogs.

That is a good option.
