Don't have time to post a lengthly report as I've got a business trip I need to leave on in ten minutes, but here it goes. Was hunting at my friend's lease this weekend. We were driving around the property in his truck -- I was on the seat in the bed. It was around 10:00 in the morning and because it has cooled off a bit, the hogs have been moving a lot during the day. We saw a few hogs at a feeder about 50 - 60 yards off. We stopped, I jumped out, layed my CZ .458 on the hood, did the best I could to place my sights just behind the shoulder of one with my lousy eyes, squeezed, the rifle barked, and two hogs dropped! There was another boar behind the one I aimed at, and the bullet hit it in the neck area breaking its spine after exiting the first hog. Even recovered the bullet. Two 'fer one! They both weighed in just around one hundred pounds. Unbelievable. | |||
