Anyone want to join my son and I on CHC's hunt?

I am considering going hog hunting with my son, Adam, at CrazyHorseConsulting's (see offer in classifieds) place. We don't have any shortage of hogs locally but I think seeing new country, new places and new ways of doing things is fun. I am thinking of hunting for 2 or 3 days, 2 more likely. The point is, we have plenty of hogs on my ranch and I/we don't want the hogs to eat. If anyone wants to come along they can have any and all pigs/hogs we shoot for free, that is, I'll pay the kill fees.

Since his ad specifies 4 people maximum, this leaves room for 1 or 2 more.

We are relatively flexible on dates, but it would pretty much have to be between July 15 and Aug 15 due to college dates.

If you're interested, PM me and we'll try to work something out. If I don't hear anything in the next few days, we'll likely go fairly soon after July 15th.

I'm booked with CHC for October or I would be all over his offer. His prices are great. Can't wait.

Gatogordo,

That is an especially generous offer. Unfortunately my son will be back in school in a few weeks and I will be out of the country for a bit. I hope you two have a good time.

I would probably be up for that provided it all falls on a weekend. PM sent.

This weekend is out, CHC has a prior committment the weekend of Aug 3, so that leaves weekends of 20th, 27th July, and 10th Aug, at this point, subject to anything that comes up. I am going to an auction this Sat and if I buy the property(which is probably not all that likely), I likely will be busy and won't be able to do these dates.....in addition, my strong preferences is to make it a Fri afternoon/evening to Sun morning hunt because of travel times. I am checking with CHC to see if he considers this a 2 day or 3 day hunt. Let me know when of if any of those 3 weekends works for you.

Any one of those weekends is open for me at this point. Am also thinking of a Friday through Sunday outing as well. Let's hammer out the other details via PM.

That is very accommodating of you CHC.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm not able to commit to a specific weekend until after Saturday when I attend the auction on the coast. If I buy that fishing camp, I won't really have the time to take care of it as a new purchase and go hunting. However, I put the odds of me buying it as about 1 in 4 but who knows?

Due to scheduling conflicts, we are not going to be able to make this hunt so Randall still has plenty of open dates.
