dogcatDid you shoot him with your double?

Wendell ReichHa, not at that range I didn't! I would love to whack one with the double though.
I didn't expect to see a pig.
I did see a huge Bobcat earlier that afternoon. If I had the old double 12 ga. that PWN sold me, he would be toast as he hid in the trees about 10 yards off the road.

mstarlingFine hog!
Grand time to have the .375 around ... just about the right medicine for that fella.
Congratulations.

SwiftShotMany guns would have put him down but you have to always have the right bullets for the job. I no longer run aroung with anything but Northforks and partitions now just because things like that only happen every now and then. You dont get second chances.

Swede44magCongrats I wish I had the place, time, and money to go hog hunting.
A lot of guns may have put him down, but you hit him that is what counts.

05tbhWhile it is always difficult to judge weight/size by looking at a pic, I would guess the boar to be around 375lbs - give or take 25lbs.

surestrikeMajor porker!!
Good thing you had a real rifle with you at the range you shot him a sub caliber poodle shooter would have been pretty hard to rely on.

Jaco HumanNow that is what you call the mother of mothers

I can taste the russians, salami and roasts not to mention the bacon.
That was a tremendous good shot you have taken.
