My sister Lynda came to see me Monday and wanted to go hog hunting. So I took her ( imagine that). We hunted Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday morning and didn't catch a thing. We got up this morning a 5 AM and loaded dogs and went to my Honey Hole. The first drop we caught 2 and as we were dragging the first one back to the potato field I looked up and there was about 20 hd milling around the first hog we killed. I walked out in front in order to get the dogs headed in the right direction and told my sister to let the cur dogs out. She opened the wrong gate and out jumps Bones the bull dog. She kept the others in until I could get bones back in. Then she opened the right door and the race was on.The dogs slowed down at the fence but the hogs didn,t so I let out The Stagxbulls and away they went. Each one of them caught their on pig. That made four for the morning so we decided to quit and process the ones we had.She will be taking South Texas Feral pigs back to Illinois next week.
