HORSEBACK HOG HUNTING TRIPS: $500 person/day
Beautiful scenery, well broke horses, lunch on the river, a little fishing, and of course plenty of exciting hunting describes our horseback hog hunting trips. With our guides you get to save your legs and ride 6 miles of the beautiful Brazos River outside of Mineral Wells, Texas (1hr to the N. West of Ft. Worth) enjoying the scenery while scouting for the big hogs that inhabit this area. You can pick one of two different exciting hunting options on our horseback trips. Doing a spot and stalk hunt with the weapon of your choice, or a hunt where the dogs accompany us on our ride and do the work finding the hogs. If you choose the dog hunt we will ride as close to the bay as possible before leaving the horses to continue on foot where you will be able to shoot or stick the hog(s) as you have chosen. This hunt includes lunch on the river, and if you would like a break from the riding, fishing for the big bass or catfish in the Brazos River. Your meat and trophy’s are packed out on one of the extra pack horse by the expert guides who will be at your side the entire trips. This trip is not only for experienced “horseman”, but for beginners alike. Our horses are “Gentle Broke” meaning that they are very experienced, very well trained, and gentle enough to put children on. You can bring the family on this trip and they can enjoy the ride while you enjoy some of the best, and most unique hunting Texas has to offer (minimum age 12yrs and $200 per person for the ride). This is truly a one of a kind experience that will leave you craving more and planning your next trip before the first one ends. Lodging is available at local motels until our bunk house is finnished and can be had at very reasonable cost. Airport pickup and return from DFW (Dallas Ft.Worth) is available and cost depends on #of people..normally about $50 a person. DOGS AND KNIVES: $375 (Group Pricing Available)

This is one of the most exciting ways to hunt that you can imagine!! We turnout "Strike Dogs" that cast around for hog scent, and when they find a hot trail they chase down the hog and bring it to bay! We then turnout the specially trained catch dogs that rush in and latch onto the hog distracting it while you move in with a knife to administer the coup de grace! We catch lots of hogs in the 50-150lb range that are extremely exciting and make for great table fair, as well we catch HUGE BOARS that weigh up to and over 300lbs with trophy tusks!! Commonly we will jump a large heard of pigs and the dogs will catch several in quick succession making for lots of heart pounding action in just a few short minutes. These hunts are run both day and night depending on the weather and the current activity of the hogs. If you decide to give this exciting way to hunt a try we guarantee you will have plenty of fun, and we guarantee your adrenal gland will be working over time as you move through the brush towards the sound of the fight not knowing what size hog(s) await you. These are unlimited hunts that are a set price. What that means is that there are no limits on how many, or size of hog you can kill, and that there is no trophy fee for the monster boars we often catch. We have been catching a lot of really nice hogs lately. It is a great time to come out and hammer some pigs with us.
