Walked a dry creek system for about 6km today, up and back. All new ground so enjoyed the walk. Took the .577 and got three good boars with it. Furtherist shot was about 45m as the boar was going up the opposite bank spine shot and required a second shot. Missed a couple as well on the way back. Pretty hot and heat was getting to me. Glad to get back to the car and the esky for a cold drink. Heres some pics Cheers Mick First boar bedded 25m recovered projectile 650 woodleigh RNSP Front on view Entry knife handle left of pic exit under skin right of pic second boar 45m 2 shots 3rd boar broken and healed right rear leg

We have an expression here........ about being in "hog heaven". Looks like you are there. Definitely a target rich environment. IMHO hoglets make the perfect reactive target/test medium for load development and bullet selection. They also taste a darn sight better than cardboard. Best, GWB
