A bunch of us headed up to Utopia, Texas this weekend to do some night hog hunting under the full moon. I took a nice 250 lb. boar at 11:15 Friday night with my 7mm-08 shooting 140 gr. TTSX's. We ended up shooting 6 hogs and eating waaaaay too much good food. We had a few of the wives hunting with us this weekend too.

This was our group.

BAB with her first hog ever. She took this one with her 7mm-08 Model 7. She took another one Saturday night with her AR-15.

Hey Scott,

I don't. They are on my short list too. I still haven't taken one. You would think I would have by now living in south Texas. We were talking about Nilgai meat last weekend on our low-fence Axis buck hunt.

A friend of mine went on a Nilgai hunt at the King Ranch about 12 years ago. I remember it being the best tasting game meat I've had. I too have been wanting to get one. Someday I'll get down to South Texas to do it.
