Hawkeye MountaineerAfter a 2-year drought, we get hit with THIS today...
Woo Hoo! That brought back good memories, Bobby--
Some of my best "Mud- Riding" on 4-wheelers was in Fayette Co. Texas.
Mud Football is fun, too.
-Glad the insurance $$ made it your way-- & I hope the rest of the clean-up goes OK.
-Also glad things were not worse.

Very sweet!
I note you're not wearing padding, could it be that a pocket of rugby-playing exists in cajun country?
That last photo looks like every rugby match I've ever played....

daniel77I actually did play rugby in college. It is a truly wonderful game. This was more about having boys time and playing in the mud. I'd play again in a heartbeat, but I've not found a men's club around these parts besides the college guys.

GhubertI played rugby to a very high, though non-professional, level at school and uni until until the following injuries made me call it a day:
>Dislocated shoulder, right, three times.
>Broken ribs, both sides an average of 3 at a time, the last three kept re-breaking when I sneezed for about three months, 12 in total
>Broken right wrist, once
>Broken fingers, right hand, 3 of
>Concussion and one inch cut on head, once
>Mostly torn off ear, left, once.
>Broken leg, right, nasty this one called it a day after that.
Great days though, my favourite memory remains catching the Wellington winger three yards from his try line and body slamming the bugger and the ball over the line for a try.
Apparently they heard the "oof!" from th dug out..

I can see why American football players wear padding however.....
