The two biggest I've killed were 210 and 260 by the scale - both boars. I saw a dead one near Kerrville that was hung at 330 gutted (with head and hide). Yes it was weighed not estimated. That's the biggest I've personally seen. I prefer to shoot 125-150 pounders for eating. That also seems to the most common "adult" size in the areas I've hunted in the Hill Country. We shot six this weekend ranging from 35 (cooked whole on the grill - hmmm good!) to 130. All were nice and fat and should eat good. | ||
