Got back from south Texas last night[1350 miles]. I'm a little tired, but here is the short version. I haven't got my pictures back, yet. We got 6 hogs, and 2 javelinas, between the 2 of us. I shot at a coyote, and missed, saw a bocat, over 100 deer, including 5 of the biggest bucks I have ever seen in all of my years of deer hunting. The trip was 3 days, 4 nights. The total cost of the trip, home to home, including meals and lodging on the road, gas, license, hunt, tip, and misc. was around $1350. The hunt was one of the best I have ever been on, and am planning on going back next year with my son. Here is the website. They are great people.

Sounds like it was well worth the time and effort. Nothing like a good hunt where everything goes right.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.
