Another salt marsh pig was sent to hog heaven this past week. This unlucky soul also met the business end of the 450 Bushmaster as she was running at 105 yards. She was running along side her other delectible sibling, so I tried lining them up for a "two-fer-one." It only worked out for one them. She met her demise at the hand of the Hornady 250 grain SST which took out her gullet at 2,190 feet per second, leaving a nicely exsanguinated carcass with no meat loss, but one hell of a mess. The rain and bugs oughta take care of that though.

The salty seas were rough as hell getting out there, being that the tail end of tropical storm Bonnie was still passing through. Access to this little patch of soggy dirt is only possible with a shallow running boat like my little tiller-handled jewel. The white caps are hell in the open water with the big swells, but it's nice once the water gets too skinny for the big boats to travel.

Here's my first video and photo compilation with Sony Vegas. (I need more practice, but you'll get the idea).

Now how you gonna age that pig without the jawbone?

Nice--but I'd bet there are more than a jillion and one 'skeeters in that place too.

Thanks, fellas!

Skeeters?!?!? Sand flies!?!?! You better believe it! I was cussing the wind while I was on the water followed by praying on my knees to keep it blowing once I reached shore. I was pale skinned and needed a transfusion when I got back home. Haha!

I'll be posting more over in the reloading forum after I do more range work, but I thought you boys would like to see what she can do with factory ammo and a modest 3-9 scope:

Not too bad for an big ol' slow thumper straight off the assembly line!
