About forty minutes after official sunset, I spotted four shoats south of the house. I was outside glassing and had the 7mm Bullberry at the ready. I was about to go in as shooting light was all but gone (no help from any moonlight) but decided to scan across the pasture one last time. I am glad I did. Using the fine lighted dot in the #60 reticle of the Zeiss Duralyt, I was able to place a bullet perfectly through the vitals of this small boar. The range was about 170 yards, and he simply folded on the spot. I wish I could have held out for a double, but they seemed skittish -- and like I mentioned, there was no time left for waiting as darkness was putting a halt to any shooting.
