These two have become regulars, both in the trap and at my "shoot" feeder.

I'll get out this week and knock one down. That mob with 3 sows and 20+ little ones is visiting too but normally midnight to 3 AM and I'm not going to stay that late.

The jinx has been baited at least.

Will await the outcome.

Both were in the trap again last night, so hopefully one will show up at the shoot feeder tomorrow night--either one - doesn't matter. The AR topped with the thermal doesn't discriminate. tu2

Dry hole for hogs last night although I did see 5 skunks and a ‘coon. Camera shows that the spotted boar came into the trap around midnight—

Turned out to be the case when I went to a buddy's lease in early March. Unusually warm. We saw almost nothing. I did get a crack at a big boar with my .480 Ruger but we never found him after tracking for quite the ways.

Still the weather screwed us over. So next time will be night hunts with IR scopes or early morning hunts.......at least until after deer season. Still, looking forward to going again with either a low-light scope and/or the big .45-70 Guide Gun w/illuminated reticle next time.

Good times to be had by all.

Checked the cams today and that bunch of 26 that was coming in hasn’t been in for past 10 days. I do have 3 boars that roam back and forth between the various feeders.

Thought about a sit one night this week but winds are totally wrong—out of the east which is very rare for here and my sitting spots are east of the feeders and they would sniff me out quickly. Oh well, there’s always next week.
