260# + change. I would have guessed at least 300# as I was dragging him to within range of the ATV! Shot him with my wifes Win fwt 280 at 287 yards. It was dark and basically I put the black mass in the middle of the scope for a perfect gut shot! Mad I gave him an hour or so to lay down then started tracking. He went about 50 yards into the thick stuff and waited on me! I caught up to him with the Wilson 45 in hand and gave him about a second to decide how he wanted to die then put 2 slugs in his noggin. THE END Shot a juicy doe today to have processed with the hog into a buffet of sausage!

Sometimes it is genetics, food, or just lots of sandy soil concerning tush length. But any hog is a trophy. That one is better than average. Congratulations. Packy
