A young 'Keiler' last night out of a sounder of 4 that came to a maize bait just before midnight. Great full moon at the moment and easy to see them in the night light. Watched them for 10 mins and then picked this one out. Dropped to the shot .30-o6 on the shoulder. And into the freezer he goes ...

Ps. Lots of acorns and nuts this year - more than usual - so the pigs are staying in the woods and staying off the fields and crops. Plus all the maize is cut and all that is on the fields is sugar beets, potatoes and winter rape.

You strike again Charlie. Nice one. Congrats.
Been a while since I've hunted pigs but, next week hopefully.
Cheers
